Adirondack

In And Around The Adirondack Park

To say that we renew something very important to us, a reconnection with ourselves personally and spiritually by spending time in the Adirondacks is an understatement. Though through the sheer luxury of spending time at The Point and the thousands of years of beauty framed by the incredible environment, it is then both a truth and another way of making the Adirondacks that much more memorable.

Making an Adirondack Mountain trip as a way to getaway from the city and cliché luxury experiences, we found The Point to be somewhat of a symbol of how we felt the first time visiting the Adirondacks. Symbolically, it was how I felt those years ago. It is a place that I could touch, smell and take in as it is beautiful, luxurious and each space as unique as the next. We experienced what so many have and those same friends, and even strangers we have yet to meet during a repeat getaway, all say the same thing, “When can we come back?”

And there's no doubt I have a personal connection to The Point Resort, but as I shed light on my experiences in the Adirondacks (look for one about Franklin Falls after Father's Day), it's important to note all of the gems that we should each experience at least once -- if not as often as possible.

And not simply to the luxury of what The Point Resort offers, but in the heart of the environment it exists, the glorious Adirondack Mountains, its not a knock-off or cheap-seats version of true rustic majesty. Here in the northeast we claim it as our backyard that has everything that historic mountain towns, views and activities have to offer in this wonderful world.
